Apple Guy Loses iPhone 4G, he gains holiday

Work for Apple? Want a free holiday? Great then all you need to do is lose your highly secretive camouflaged next generation iPhone 4G, have the entire internet go wild about it and make the event news and in return you'll be offered a holiday.

Well sort of in a round about way, as the guys over at intomobile report that Lufthansa Airlines decided to jump of the lost iPhone 4G bandwagon and offer the guy who lost the next generation prototype a free trip to Germany.

The reason being apparently the guy lost said much talked about iPhone 4G prototype, much to Steve Jobs annoyance no doubt, whilst consuming German beer, and naturally Lufthansa Airlines wants to give the guy who is probably feeling lower than Palm stock right now a chance to drink German Beer in Germany.

The free complimentary business class flight to Munich offer came via an open letter on Twitter which also says, "Upon arrival in Munich feel free to check out our new Bavarian Beer Garden Business Lounge and experience the best beer that Germany has to offer."

We're not sure if the loser of the iPhone 4G prototype will take up the offer, but perhaps a little time away from Apple and any wrath Jobs may bestow may make things seem not so bad.

iPhone, Droid and Rivals: Can RIM BlackBerry compete still?

According to an article over on Reuters, numerous analysts are saying that rival smartphones such as the Motorola Droid and the iconic iPhone along with others could keep snatching market share from BlackBerry until such times as Research In Motion can deliver an improved OS and browser.

Research In Motion's annual Wireless Enterprise Symposium which is held in Orland Florida, and runs 27 April – 29th April is expected to pull in thousands of analysts, developers, partners and BlackBerry customers, and many are wondering if Research In Motion is close to uncovering new phones which will feature "a compelling high end user experience."

Apparently analysts say that RIM could sweeten their smartphones with the addition of multitouch along with other easy to use, intuitive features which have defines the iPhone. According to Matthew Thornton, an analyst for Avian Securities, if RIM can deliver, he said, "I think that will put a lot of the naysayers' concern to rest."

Thornton went on to say that the expectation is that RIM Blackberry can't compete at the high end and thus have been increasingly pushing down price scale to the lower end.

However, Research In Motion says they are still a contender in the consumer market, but apparently analyst want to hear the details on how RIM plans to win the fight.

Also RIM may use the trade show to launch the high end BlackBerry Bold 9650 and low end BlackBerry 3G Pearl while speculation is that RIM will unveil the clamshell BlackBerry 9670 which may sport the latest BlackBerry operating system which we previously reported on.

Gizmodo iPhone 4G bin it, concept should be final production

Ok the new Gizmodo found iPhone 4G prototype looks hot, but we say bin it and use this concept as the final production.

Apple you should change direction totally and surprise everyone by making this the new iPhone 4G final production model, go on grow some balls and go for it. That would really sway people and knock all the news about the iPhone Gizmodo had.

This model is from designer Anthony De Rosa of ADR Studio, according to Redmond Pie this design has been inspired by the lost/stolen real next generation iPhone, Apple why would you release a smartphone that we have already seen, it leaves us with no surprise or excitement.

This should be the final production of the iPhone 4G/HD or simply iPhone, damn what will it be called it's a nightmare.

iPhone 4G Revealed: What’s the big deal?

By now everyone and their aunt probably knows that an Apple engineer stupidly lost a camouflaged next generation iPhone prototype and that the guys over at Gizmodo forked over $5000 to get their hands on the device and then went on to splash everything possible out to the surfing public.

The results of which has had the internet alive with bloggers, tech site, news sites, TV and others all reporting every conceivable aspect of the Gizmodo reveal and has been a major newsworthy revelation. There's even been a video of how Apple disguised the damn thing, which obviously didn't work as well as expected once Gizmodo got hold of it,

But let's be honest here, it's Just a Phone! Albeit an iPhone and one that is rumoured to be surfacing at the traditional time Apple unveil such devices. But when it boils down to it, what is the big deal?

Sooner or later everything is going to come out about the next generation iPhone anyway, whether its beforehand or after doesn't really make that much difference does it? It's not like anyone's life is suddenly going to end if we don't find out about what the new iPhone 4G, iPhone HD, iPhone 2010, iPhone 3GS2 or whatever it is being called these days, is it.

Come to that matter we don't even know what it will be called once it is finally revealed, although thanks to Gizmodo that may well be the only thing we no longer know.

So in the interest in finding out I put it to our readers, what's the big deal? Let me know why it's so important that we find out about what the new iPhone will be like before Apple is good and ready, let me know by voicing your opinions in the comments area below.

New iPhone 4G front facing camera great prospects for Gaming?

We are all familiar now with the recent news in relation to a certain iPhone being left or lost in a bar by an Apple Software Engineer and then somehow as if by magic it appeared in the hands of Gizmodo.

Although it has been reported previously here, just in case you missed it. Gizmodo couldn't manage to find out the whole hardware and the specifications of the iPhone 4G but one thing is for sure you just couldn't miss the front facing camera.

Pretty much anyone you speak to about the camera on the front expects that this is all to do with video conferencing, but lets think realistically on this how many of you guys out there actually use your devices for video chatting. Probably not many of you.

The camera will probably have more of an impact on iPhone gaming. We all know that the iPhone is a proven portable gaming console as both publishers and developers are gathering and creating games for the iPhone as well as PSP and Nintendo Dsi, sales are increasing at about the same rate. So why on earth would you purchase something that is only capable of gaming, when you can buy the real McCoy and have something that is a mobile phone but also permits you to use for mail, multimedia and also gaming?

The new iPhone is on its way and due here in the summer with the screen which has bigger resolution this will also improve gaming, a few things you can do with a front facing camera, for the younger ones out there you can add your face to your favourite games. Social networking while playing games, Nintendo like WarioWare and Nintendo like face tracking plus much more. Share your comments and opinions with us.
